  2. so... i've played the game a long time. before we had the ability to use the 'alerts' we had to manually patrol to find attackers.. i think that made for a lot of excitement/surprise in the game. i admit the API was a cool feature in the game when it was introduced, giving the advantage to vigilant defenders.. but now its just too hard to attempt any sort of sneak attack. the beachhead style attack has become all but useless at this point.. im not saying to eliminate the alerts completely, but at least have regular 'blackouts' where the API is shut down for a number of days giving us the ability to potentially do some damage to our enemies without them knowing.. unless of course they are really diligent in patrolling their zones. imo it would bring some spice back into the game..
  3. Holy impossible stacking, Batman!

112 as in 112 launches, multiply that by the 1250 per launch and you get 141k bots. Depending on badge acquisition you could use those timestamps to see roughly how many bot kills are occurring per day. At a very attainable 1500 bot kills per launch (this number picked because it is what I averaged yesterday) you could do 112 launches of deflection per day, then 200 launches of attacking formations to end up getting +12.4 million bots in the leaderboards over 88 days as well as 26.4 million bot kills without the use of a single cube. If you're fortunate enough to find any large stacks of seekers and/or shockwave then you can push that even higher. Of course, as you said, that would still be an immense number, and very few players would be approaching it, but it's still certainly achievable. I imagine that soupist would be averaging very close to those numbers, maybe even slightly higher, as long as you factor in Atlantis.
  4. Holy impossible stacking, Batman!

Your math isn't quite right, it's roughly 141,000 per day net. Knowing that there were other kinds of launches, this is an impressive feat. It's not quite "impossible" though, once you break it down. It's extreme dedication. Thanks!
  5. Holy impossible stacking, Batman!

12.4 million bots in 88 days is only 112 Deflection per day on average. Active players can quite consistently sit at about triple that. It's not that huge of an amount.
  6. Happy New Year! I've noticed one player climbing the regional ranks at an impossible rate of speed over the span of 3 months. For example, this player added 2.7 million bots in the last 12 days. The same player added 2.5 million bots in the prior 9 days and 2 million bots in the 8 days before that, and so on for 12.4 million bots in the last 88 days. I started tracking after watching the phenomenal increases. Knowing that this player has definitely been attacking in addition to stacking, I am wondering how in the **** this was accomplished. Burn cubes like Tootsie Rolls on Halloween?
  7. PLasma beam v GDI Ion Cannon

When I upgraded my phone to an Android phone I was dissapointed that I could no longer enjoy the satisfaction of nuking a zone with a nanomissile...
  8. Coming back from a 2 year hiatus. Portland used to be primarily dominated by legion, but everyone in legion seems to be MIA. Mostly swarm and a few faceless. Anyone in Portland playing?
  9. R.I.P. Command Center

I have enjoyed QONQR for a couple years now. Broken apps, abusive players among other things have caused me to slow down in play. But one thing I did enjoy was Command Center. I thought it was an excellent idea for keeping an eye on your home territory, and I could see the potential of continuing its development... say using it to "enter" our bases and build them up to provide specializations, or maybe have a Nano-bot creation unit that would automatically add bots to your base, further shoring its defenses.. today I opened command center and was disappointed to find that the map no longer displays, not to mention that a long time ago the ability to see who was stacking a zone was eliminated. I guess I'm just whining that it is so frustrating to see this universe grow and develop so slowly. But maybe that's the burden of being an independent developer... Silver, if you are going to allow an app to become broken, at least pull it from the store.
  10. New Brazilian player

Hi there, nice to be here. o/
  11. Congratulations to Devangel on continuing the Faceless tradition of being utterly garbage at this game and paying to lose. Thanks for denying all of your teammates any hope of getting some qredits to use this month.
  12. Atlantis July 2016

Cracking Atlantis this month, I'm not the most active in there and only joined in near the end and it was really hard fought by all. Some large money spent and a lot of effort by all. It made for a really close call at the end. Good for Qonqr all in all.
  13. Private chat zone links

Yes. Bump, because I like this.
  14. qonqr blue on android

There's no transfer, as far as I'm aware. Just uninstall the app from your old phone, and then install the app and log in to your account on the new phone. Just make sure you don't try to log back in on the old phone.
  15. The app on android is running well by now, but I will change my smartphone and I don't know how I can transfer my account, thanks.
  16. I haven't been on this website since I was 13 or 14

...Wow, then I'm really out of the loop. Nice talking to you all! Bye!
  17. I haven't been on this website since I was 13 or 14

    Blue is already out.
  18. I haven't been on this website since I was 13 or 14

ahaha hahaha ha I don't think I'm ready for that. Maybe when QONQR Blue officially releases? Man, I had no idea that there was supposed to be a big update until just now!
  19. I haven't been on this website since I was 13 or 14

The best way to find out is to download the game and look around
  20. Hey guys! I remember I used to be obsessed with this game (2 or 3 years ago lol) and for some reason I thought, "Hey, wouldn't it be funny if I reappeared out of the blue?" So, how's the Faceless faring in the Lake Sammamish area?
  21. Oddball Strategy

I have seen a lvl 100+ local faceless attack and defend a few zones in my city with only 1 or 2 launches of ZA and a s! ton of seekers, this was a few months back though.
  22. Plasma beam tactical question...

I think the only way you can be found out in your sneakiness is if the zone makes it to the top 10? Can any one verify?
  23. Qonqr at Conventions

Will Qonqr ever attend big conventions like PAX to market their product? If we could get mass amounts of players from conventions to join we could fix disparity of areas possibly. Thoughts?
  24. PAX West

Any Qonqr Operatives going PAX West in Seattle this year? I think it would be cool to see some other players up there if they are going. #Synclockedfordays
  25. This guide is meant to give hope to new players that join into an area were they are outnumbered or have some huge zones around them. These are my personal opinions and are ment to be a general as possible. Hello new player, let me be first to welcome you to Qonqr. Before I start this guide, I will need you to decide what play style you fit into as this will help you decide what do in overwhelming odds. There are really only 3 types of players 1) The Turtle: You stack defense all day and try to keep to yourself. 2) The Shark: you try to take out anything you see. 3) The pigeon: You are just trying to be annoying to the other players. So now down to the nitty gritty. How to Turtle: Level 0-100 Pick spots you can easily take back with Zone assault and put bases there, usually 2,000 or less bots in that zone. Doing this will allow you to keep a maximum credit flow. Level 100-up Once you have reached level 100 you should be a a competitive level of play. Also, you should have noticed the level of response and quality of response you have been getting for capturing zones. If you are getting hit with missiles from just one player, feel free to stack deflectors as they will probably give up on your zone eventually as they will have bigger fish to fry. Keep hopping around until you find a zone that you can take and stack with minimal effort. If you are getting hit with locals, or Zone assaults, keep persistent and patient. There will be a time were they get distracted with other campaigns out of town. Then that s is when you make your move. If at all possible, get some near by players give some missile support as it will show you are not going solo and may take some heat off of you. How to Shark: All Levels Attack, Attack, Attack. Most shark style players I have run across will look at the largest zone they can reach and do what ever they cant o take it down. That is pretty much it, Sharks just want to focus on one target and drop it down. Then if they can, take it back up under their factions control. Sharks will tend to help other players out of their city more then attack their own. How to Pigeon: All Levels Annoy! Caw! Annoy! Pigeons just want to rain on everyone's parade. They tend to look for zones with under 3,000 bots to turn to their factions control. These zone will get turned back and the Pigeon will turn it again. Hence the annoying part. Pigeons tend not to care about keeping zones their faction and care less about defending them. Pigeons just attack were they can be the biggest problem to the big players. I hope this can give new players a place to start and a desire to play in overwhelming odds and not just switch factions, because that is no fun when every one is on the same team. Comment below if you think there is any more advice to give to newbies in hard to pay areas.
