I'm with Gman. I would put the NE players against any crew of any size. And I agree with Willie that it would be awesome to be able to rep our areas in a different maybe more balanced tournament version than Atlantis. Especially if it broke down by region, not faction. North East, missile tested, battle approved.

i gotta agree with gmen. generally speaking there is a disconnect among most players. i see a lot of clicks (groups of friends that play together) but east coast legion has been pretty cohesive over the last year and a half. i can't really fault anyone that loses a big zone though, it seems like the amount of in game players on the east coast has tanked over the last 6 months, at least for faceless and swarm. VA/DC/MD and Delaware are like a dang ghost town these days. grats on the op guys and gals, quite impressive.

    Jumping from purple to RED

I don't post much, nor do I reply to many posts... hardly any, as a matter of fact, but for those who find the game boring after reaching level 100, you might want to read this. I started out as legion in Pittsburgh, but noticed quite quickly there was little to no local support. That was over a year ago. At the time the only thing that made sense was to switch to faceless, as they seemed to control a disproportionately large part of the city. As faceless in Pittsburgh I was able to level up, build zones, and keep bases that were well-protected by other faceless players. I never disliked playing on the faceless side, and I still consider the locals great guys and excellent players, but things changed. Things became boring, and the sillinesss of the faceless "leadership" was stiffling. There was little support for anyone outside a select group of players, and only when it came to zones located in strategically important cities. I have much respect for the local faceless players - they play with heart and understand it's just a freakin' game. That said, switching to legion made all the difference in the world. I had considered closing my account and uninstalling the game from my phone, but decided to switch to legion at the last moment. I effectively destroyed 5 million+ bots, taking myself off the regional board, and had to drive around to relocated bases, but it was well worth it. Soon after switching I was invited to the Dover, DE op - probably the biggest zone takedown in the history of qonqr, and it was epic! Taking down a 30+ million bot zone in under 48 hours was exhillarating, but what still doesn't register is how smooth everyone operated. There were no complaints, no whining, no getting bent out of joint. In Legion there are no "leaders." It was actually fun and, strangely enough, relaxing. The personalities at legion in my area are inviting and similar to that of my own - relaxed, fun, accomodating, and more importantly, everyone takes care of everyone. If one member has a problem, we all have a problem. For those getting bored with the game, consider coming over to LEGION! James "Macz"

Now that willie sounds like a much better concept for a game within this beloved game then Atlantis. We could compete all while still killing the bots that matter. However, if ur speaking region, it would have to be #s combine from all 3 from one area against another. Excellent idea! We could still do what we do against our opposing factions while nit taking away from what is needed to be done(which is my major problem with Atlantis). I would bank on the n/e( all the way down to VA included) against any region, with confidence. We would need an unbiased statistician to keep track & that would be difficult to find but, I love the idea & think we should get together to make this happen. Agreed?

Heh, I guess it was destined to fall eventually. Such is life in QONQR. To those who criticize, don't pass judgement too quickly. While it was nice of Sandreeche to physically travel for the team, many, many players do not have that luxury. So no player can expect any other to spend every waking hour watching all the zones within 100mi, or respond immediately to a message, or travel to another town for hours to set up and keep defensive bots in play. If some can, awesome. If not, that doesn't make one team any more or less than another. In the end, good job Legion setting up the op and seeing it through.

Wanted to make a few comments about this demolition of Dover. First and foremost, special thanks to our hosts Regtwelve and Sandreeche. They both went above and beyond preparing the zone and pre-amping. Sandreeche even taking a ride to get into range to assist in creating the beach head. They both threw down in a big way and represented big time. This one was a lot different than the Pittsburg Op for 2 reasons. 1) I don't think the original intent with Pittsburgh was to demolish the tower. Once called out for even hitting it though it was on. This one we knew we would drop it. It was just a question of when and how long it would take. I'm amazed by the response (I think the count was 98ish Legion) and the commitment put forth by all involved. We knew we needed all hands on deck and everyone within 400 miles responded big time. 98ish is an incredible number of players considering east of Dover is ocean. 2) Planning. We had an idea what needed to be done and had everyone prepare as needed. I'm convinced the crew in this area can drop anything. Looking at the stats that were just posted in the portal it appears that a few Swarm tried fighting for this. To those few I commend you for not going down without a fight. We honestly expected more of a fight from SWARM from outside the state but it seems that these guys were left high and dry. As always it's been a pleasure being in the trenches with all of our Legion in the BenDover Op! Legion for Life! pew pew pew pew BOOM!

Please find these towers MMW-n-Friends has supposedly built up in the very very short time it took us to drop Dover. My Legion brothers and sisters will find great pleasure in dropping those 100k super awesome uber l337 swarm towers! Clearly they pose much more of a challenge than a paltry pathetic minuscule 31 million bot pile of green turds! Ta-Ta!

Swarm is one for all and all for me. They don't help each other or care for each other which is why they burn so easily. Nice try to Downplay it MMW, but you failed. Nothing swarm has is safe. It's dangerous. It's deadly. We will stop it. We will save you from yourselves.

I know of 3 local swarm who attempted to defend Dover. There were probably 3 more who knew what was happening but decided to let it fall. I'm also quite sure there were plenty in missile range that knew but did nothing. Going into the battle we had absolutely no idea what to expect, I never for one second thought it would go down like this. They were completely overwhelmed and didn't know what to do, plus their days were numbered anyway. The point of building a 31 million Bot tower isn't about how to defend it, it's more of a who on earth would ever actually think they could destroy it.

Maybe Swarm could make it a little more intresting next time - if you guys wouldn't mind building a bigger zone, we'd appreciate it. We've set a new bar and need your help to exceed that AWESOME accomplishment!

Towers are meant to fall, new england legion players are the badest legions around. Just my opinion. "We dont set the bar, We are the bar " quote a great legion. To the other legions in the world, if theres a tower near you, you can make it fall. There isnt a tower big enough that wont fall.
