  2. Divert Changing Slightly

  3. Has QONQR Become "Pay-to-Win"?

I really like the idea of bases being more versatile. Being able to choose what it will generate. New players would want all qredit bases to get their scope upgrades as quickly as possible, fully upgraded scopes would then need to return to their bases to destroy and rebuild one that makes one or the other type of refresh and balance those with qredit making bases according to how they play. Would allow even the non-paying players to build up a hugely destructive arsenal once a month. So long as they log in to harvest. The limit should probably be pretty high or non-existent, though. Those willing to buy can easily get around that buying 20 at a time unless they are not available for purchase which seems overboard to me.
  4. Has QONQR Become "Pay-to-Win"?

I feel the real hurdle is a large enough user base. In my area we have mostly non-paying players. The couple of us who can buy qubes (of all factions) ended up being the backbone while the others are the soldiers making the difference. Like everything else it's all about organization.
  5. Windows Phone 1.17 Update released

The Groupme chatter about the update included much groaning about the ads so I hadn't updated. After reading through this thread I decided to try it. It's fkn beautiful on my Lumia 928. Seems to run smoother and I LOVE the integration of the portal. I even just realized, because of one of the ads, I could bulk buy ordinance. Since Qonqr is making money off me seeing the ads, which I don't find intrusive at all, I am leaving them active even though I've spent plenty more than the requisite $9. Silver, bud, you care about your project and you care about the people. I am delighted to have the work I do allow me the opportunity to help you do what you do.
  6. Level 100 in how long?

My son took longer than three weeks. Probably two months, to level up to 100. But this isn't really his sort of game, he mostly just plays when he and I are playing another game together. Other than that scenario it's tough to see anyone taking longer than three weeks and still playing.
  7. The Android Effect

If you have a WP or Iphone you probably have an android device. I see a lot of new players starting the game, and most quitting shortly after, but I also see a lot of temptation for current players to multiscope. I welcome the challenge of new players from any faction. Take my zones. I love the war more than the zones. The multi problem is going to be a huge headache for devs, though.
  8. Why not...?

The game suggested Legion was underrepresented at the time. I enjoy a challenge. Stayed for the love of the fight.
  9. MrBizzy

Never heard of the fella. Happy to honor his memory and family with a day of deflectors.
  10. I wouldn't say it *necessarily* takes as much skill, but it takes understanding of the game to make spending worth your time and money. However if you spend and don't know what you're doing you can more easily keep up with those who don't and even overtake those who do since you can have endless supply of bots through refreshes. I've spent on the game, but I still have a budget to adhere to. Sparring with those who don't and those who spend more it's easy to tell who knows how the game works. I used all "free" attacks to take a couple zones from someone who was putting in abs, support and divert -- he didn't know how to use them properly, though, so I got the zones. I let him have most of them back but his mails bothered me so I took them again with the qredits I bought with qubes when the exchange was good. He was seriously overwhelmed because he had no idea how to slow me down. I also spent (WAY more this time) to take a zone-- would have at the end of the day-- but he was willing to spend and countered very precisely until his faction from across the state was able to help and demolish me. I hate losing, but I know when I'm bested and that day I was. We were both ready to spend but he had planned reinforcement and I had fewer local attackers. He wins, that's the game. Point: Skill, communication and sheer numbers are the deciding factors. But qubes CAN sway that against any of those factors.
  11. A New Legion Superpower

Whatever number or other part of the game titillates you. To your own self be a Qonqrer.
  12. Seriously, in all seriousness.

    I like Asian girls.
  13. Buying Zones...

If I can't out buy them or out strategize them, I'll outlast them.
  14. Unofficial Bot Kill Leader Board

Would you mind putting faction affiliation at the end of each name? Sorry to burden, but it would be fun to see.
  15. Attention Qonqr Agents

Thank you all for a wonderful read. Game on.
