  1. Dear Devs

I'm with Massune and Whitey... It's just makes sense to ban those devices. As for the boring part, like Massune said, go merc or another faction if the game means that much to you. If that's not an option then find another game on the marketplace that 'entertains' you more and play that instead... And if you can't find one then don't be surprised when we laugh at your return to what really is a well thought out and slowly but surely progressing game... Also in the ealy days you had your 1 vs 1 battles simply because less people played. As the game has gained popularity (which it definitely has) the player base has expanded and the chances for lopsided factions to form have grown. Also if the game means so much you can get cheap cheap smartphones these days (under $100, less than your investment in the game potentially), why not get a second phone like Kirra suggested (and has done). Bottom line players will play if they really want to, they will find a way regardless. The devs decision is purely for the mechanics of the game and I completely understand their logic
  2. Yep and that was suggested (by me if I recall correctly lol) so that solution has been offered. Was simply trying to state that CanadianBacon needed to not just winge about it but offer a solution that the devs are willing to accept and implement... Until such time as they accept the suggestion you mentioned we have to find an alternative that will also work and that they can (and will) implement instead
  3. Upgrades vs. Ordnances

Upgrades first as ordinance won't do much for you in the long run until you are really settled into the game and trying to expand your territory. And for the reason of how you gain experience to level up (found here: http://qonqr.wikia.com/wiki/Experience) I would focus on damage and shield and scope... then bot tanks
  4. Faction Forums Problem

I do see the benefit to get in touch with large groups of people for the purpose of introductions and finding Groupme chats etc... If the security is that bad then yea I tend to agree, just make a sticky thread for each faction for people to make first contact with. Wouldn't spend hours scouring thru other factions newbies etc then and that would be more than sufficient and also the new players wont need to be reminded not to disclose any vital operation/tactical information into the section/ thread then too. Sticky faction threads for making first contact, thats all that's really needed
  5. Tru Story Discussion Thread

If ya get really bored maybe you could geocache some bonus episodes into your local area for people to find... Or better still get permission from the devs to create a couple of hidden 'Atlantis' style zones with a digital copy of the story inserted instead of the battle screens ;D Easter egg hunt anyone?!?
  6. Qommnd site should be disabled!

Anyone that uses Qommnd so obsessively would surely do the same with their phone if the site was disabled (if they don't already do that too I mean), right? I know when I am very active in the game I check the map obsessively looking for any sneak attacks or if I know a zone is being targeted. Sure the website does a better job of displaying it but I don't think disabling it will do anything to stop those people doing what they clearly think they need to do to protect their territory, so in the long run the problems would still occur that you speak of :/
  7. As I have said in other topics on this issue a number of times... Don't just highlight the problem, be constructive then and offer a well-researched and detailed solution! We can all get on here and **** and moan about what is wrong but until we get proactive about it there will never be any change. It is our world after all and we can't just sit like children with our thumbs in our mouths expecting the devs to come up with all the ideas. Take ownership, and until then stop complaining... Have a look thru the forum a bit deeper, you will find there are alot of suggestions for you to offer suggestions and opinions on if you are really stuck for a solution. Maybe you can build on one of those ;D
  8. Unstoppable Force

All good Earit, wasnt really aimed at you... More at monk that was getting a lil bent at the whole concept of of inter-faction cooperation... Was actually fine with the topic up until that point ;D I just find it silly when people complain about a perfectly legitimate (and fitting to the situation) tactic, for the reasons I put in my post. Lol good on ya for winning, a good battle always has a good mix of both physical tactics and mental tactics in my opinion, and thats what you guys used and you won as a result <pat on the back, and not a hint of sarcasm intended at any point of my posts>
  9. EPIC SWARM ZONE!

    i dont lol
  10. QONQR black

Well, I have been using Black exclusively for just over a week now. Likes: * That it shows my inventory for missiles etc at the launch screen (I now stock up while my scope cools down, instead of finding out when I try to launch that I am low). * Definitely feel that it launches faster and nice that all attacks are on one screen so no need to switch between the different bot groups. * I like that the depot links to the website, buying in bulk is way easier and alot nicer on the thumb than the 'one press, one unit' buying system in the flash version. * Also like that the current range to zone is shown from the launch screen. Great for those situations where you are just on the edge of range for an attack and moving around the house etc makes all the difference. * Wonderful how the 'Zones' screen lets you filter by proximity, and that it has the 3 different sorting modes (ABC, distance, and faction). Dislikes: * It would be nice if the proximity filter I just mentioned was a proper full scroll bar segmented into 'Km/Mile' increments and not segmented into the 'Adjacent, Medium, Wide, Maximum' ranges as it is hard to filter to the ranges of specific attacks I wish to use. Maybe even segmented to the different attack ranges would be more useful? * Could really use a refresh button on the main launch screen. The leaderboard and zones screens have it but not the most viewed screen. * As mentioned earlier, the wire should really be integrated, even if it is just a colourless version of the full scope one. The way the wire on portal displays on my Lumia 800 I end up scrolling forever just to find my earlier messages. The portal also gives no easy way to manage zone takeover notifications (takes too long, always asks me to login, I've lost the ability to launch an immediate counter attack from the message, and it ends up being quicker and easier to go into the full scope and delete messages in there, possibly ??? using less data to do so than a continually refreshing browser page) * Not a biggie and this is more of a personal preference one for me: Would be nice to have my Qredits balance (maybe above the energy balance location?) displayed on the launch screen. I find myself always looking expecting to find it. I think it's because I want to have an overview of my balance while using ordinance attacks... For instance, I don't go so heavy with my Plasma Beam when I know my credits are low and I need to conserve them for taking out enemy Seekers before sending my Shockwave attacks in) Hope this helps Silver... Any questions or feedback I'm more than happy to chat
  11. Unstoppable Force

For all those bickering about double-teaming etc: You are forgetting how 'war' works. Think of all the IRL wars that have happened. Who won ANY of them going it alone? And how often have all factions teamed up with others OUTSIDE of Atlantis? Sure, not all operatives have, but at some point all factions have. Get over it, it's the way war works. In any case it just adds another element cos in Atlantis only one faction can take the rewards, so when it comes to the crunch even cross-faction teams will break down when it gets to who crosses the finish line first...
  12. State of Atlantis

Completely agree, it's the golden rule for anything... The KISS principle: Keep It Simple Stupid... The more rules and more complicated and over-thought things are, the less enjoyable they are and the harder they are to manage I like the concept of 3 zones with the different basic traits. Combined with one prime zone that is 'condition-free' and a free for all. Anything else involved in winning should just come down to teamwork, tactics, and hard work. 13. New player in East of England / RoHRHat

Welcome Rohrhat! Keep at it and don't be afraid to play around with your tactics a lil bit to keep your enemy guessing Most of all enjoy yourself!
  14. QONQR black

I think the whole game would be heavily biased if it were OS-based factions, as I would believe that IOS & Android (not sure which is leading at the moment) have been dominating the market for quite sometime... It would also take away the ability to choose your faction based on your own ideals etc. Imagine being locked into a faction who's principles you don't agree with :/ Love that you thought outside the box tho
  15. Winning Atlantis

Would it not show on the portal online? That would display heaps more zones at a time...
