I remember Kimbro I have some records of it somewhere. As you know I love the tales of battle and sharing them, but it would be hard to pick a MOST memorable. I have details on about 100 large scale swarming operations. All of which had cool stories, twists and turns, surprises and lessons lol But I suppose the first things that come to mind was when you guys drew a picture out of zones for me for my birthday XD the swarm symbol was the picture. I love you guys. This was coordinated by wires only. there were 4 teams I believe Each responsible for a different part of the image. It was pretty sweet.

Anyone familiar with this group? Is it just for big spenders or those of high rank? Have any of the items discussed been implemented in the game?
Also BOZO is a POSER. He's not real Swarm.

Well, everyone else has said something so, for you UK players, you may have noticed I haven't been playing for a couple of months.I stopped playing because I felt that the competition had gone stale. What is the point in me in continuing to play when every zone I attempt to take is locked down tight. When I did attempt to take these zones, my opponents would call in support to take out my other zones whilst I was distracted.
I don't enjoy a game where I fail to win any of my battles, and constantly see my territory dwindling. This isn't through lack of effort on my part. Throughout the summer i played constantly, putting in much more effort and regular deployments than the majority of my opponents.
Yes I am very disappointed that I lost London while I was gone, but even if I was there, I would have had no hope of defending it.
So yeah, you may have fun winning all the time, but your opponents have been quitting on you for some time now, only worsening the problem. I almost quit entirely, but I'm going to come back. There is a real need for changes in order to keep me interested, as a stagnant and dull game wont keep me playing.

I have posted a blog post today. I had not planned to share this so early, but we have been working on a way to better determine if questionable activity is automated. The feature is still under development and I can't say when it will be released. However, I hope this shows I am not attempting to sweep this issue under the rug. Hopefully we will have the feature added to all platforms in the not-too-distant future.

I was asked to step in on this thread. There are many concerns about the developers and myself specifically.
First let me address Bohdi's concern about his support request. I spent an hour today reviewing the logs for the player(s) he reported because Gadgerson felt it was time to escalate the many support requests on the same issue. His assertion was that a player was deploying every 20 minutes on the dot, 24 hours a day for days on end in a blatant scripting attack. It was very easy to show that this was not true by reviewing the logs. There were obvious and long periods of inactivity during the night hours in Colorado. Yes there was consistent deploying throughout the rest of the day, and activity was very regular, but also did show human characteristics. I can’t say definitively that this was or was not partially scripted, but the evidence didn’t support the claims of a “bot”. We have heard many stories of people who have scoured the app store looking for apps that will give them a 20 minute reminder to deploy. This behavior easily fits that description. Many players report evidence as proof. Bohdi, you yourself were once accidentally banned based on "proof", but we later found that the evidence was flawed, and as a result we changed our policy on “evidence”. Had we been more "heavy handed", your account would not have been re-instated at that time.
We take player concerns seriously. When this was a company with only two full time people, we had half our company dedicated 100% to responding to players. We still have a full-time dedicated person responding to players all day during the week, and even monitoring support on the weekend for issues that cannot wait until Monday. Gadgerson’s dedication to customer support borders on sainthood. She takes much player abuse, and yet she still comes to work every day for the last year. We do what we can to address player concerns. We do our very best to address people’s requests. We can't be perfect, but personal experience shows that we are much better than the giant game companies that are making millions on their players. There will always be those that disagree with our findings, and thus claim that we defrauded them in some way.
There has been much negativity around QONQR caring about nothing other than cash. This is not new. The forums are full of these accusations from two years ago. I'm not going to quote you our revenue. That would be pandering and most likely you would call us liars anyway. If we had the kind of money people thought we had, I would have 3 full time dedicated Android developers, and I wouldn’t still be working 60-70 hours a week. By the way, I tested our fourth attempt at our next Android release today. It runs fine on six of the phones we have, except on a Galaxy S3, where it crashes every time we open the map. I can’t predict if we will ever win this battle with Android.
Finally, yes I have gone dark lately. I have much new news to share, but am waiting until we have a little more progress to show. In a company our size, we have peaks and lulls. You may recall that much of last fall and winter, people felt the same. “Where did the developers go?” Then we blasted out many new features from February-June (after the big battle engine rewrite).
We are coming out of the back end of a stabilization period. We spent much of the past few months upgrading our infrastructure and working on improvements in a variety of places, mostly in our backend systems.
I have several new blog posts queued up for release in the next two months addressing topics around scripting attacks, hackers, Android, and new features. More is coming.
In closing, let’s chat. Invite me to your GroupMe or line group, and I’d love to chat. I agree, I’ve lost some of the connections I once had with the players. I’ve been too heads-down in the code and need to get back in conversations with players. Email support@qonqr.com to setup a group chat. Gadgerson will get it on my calendar. I don’t have the time to have 1 on 1 conversations with every player, but if you can pull together a dozen players or more, let’s have a mini-town hall meeting on GroupMe, Line or the forums chat.
PS. Nobody gets free cubes, unless you grabbed one from the Halloween weapons cache or had an awesome twitter smack talk. Then you got 1 free cube. I get reports often that players are claiming to be employees or contractors of QONQR and get free cubes. These people are trolling you.

Free players are complaining that pay to win is unfair. I highly doubt anyone would be complaining if things were unfair but to their advantage. Silver had a blog post about this a while back:
"We know pay to win happens in QONQR, but it is only winning the battle, not the war. Even those that have spent thousands in the game are often getting their **** handed to them in daily skirmishes and are forced to spend again and again."
I remember reading this and asking myself if I should continue to spend as he implied that it was a waste of money if you can't afford to keep spending.
Essentially we have the devs and the free players discouraging pay to win. The purpose of the cube is to overcome the overheat limitation. If we can't have some sort of advantage then why pay at all when we could just take our money someplace else where the customer is appreciated.

Hopefully my disappearance will allow new players a chance to get started here. As it was the massive towers just caused new players of all factions to give up. No new players have lasted more than a few days here in months. My bots could only serve to ruin the game for the next person
